About Us
--Our Mission—
Here at Outdoor Traditions Apiary, we strive to provide a high quality, pure and minimally touched product to our family and customers.
We handle every aspect of our business personally from Bee keeping to the
final product. It has always been important to us that our customer's get the best product in its rawest form possible.
From the mountains to the prairie, Mark and I made the move to Fairview a few years ago from Southwest Montana. We, like so many others were lured here by the booming economy and by our family living here already.
The Rose family was formed by combining our 2 families back in 2000. Combined we have 5 children and 3 granddaughters, Sofia , Blakelee and Sadie. They are such a big part of our lives and our business and we hope to pass along a strong work ethic and some "sweet" memories along the way.
This area has much warmer seasons and Mark always wanted to try his hand at Beekeeping, so here we are. We started with just a couple of hives and through much trial and error have expanded our hives and Outdoor Traditions Apiary. The “Outdoor Traditions” part of our business name has been with us for many years. Our family has always been outdoorsy and enjoys camping, hunting, fishing, and boating. The best times we have is enjoying the outdoors as a family. This tradition has continued for the past 20 years and our kids are passing it along to theirs
.
Bee keeping is a LOT of hard work, but the Liquid Gold at the end is so worth it. We have some very generous landowners that allow us to place our hives in some of the prime locations. Bees require suitable land with water and feed opportunities to produce great Honey.
We have so much more to explore and we are just getting started.
We hope to be able to share some of our Liquid Gold with you soon!
